FOR TODAY - June 1, 2009
Outside My Window... it's a beautiful spring day. The sun is shining and there's just enough of a breeze to keep you from overheating too quickly. We will be spending some time outside today.
I am thinking... that I have a lot to get accomplished and I feel so unprepared for this week. It's time to get my list in order and start accomplishing.
In the learning room... we are on "summer" break and will resume our structured lessons sometime in August (I think). In the meantime, we are spending plenty of time learning through play and time together.
I am thankful for... forgiveness... for without it, there would be no purpose in continuing.
From the kitchen... I don't have anything special planned for meals yet this week. But, that should be remedied by this evening. The pups are sleeping in their crates right now and so I'm trying to stay out while they nap.
I am wearing... jeans and a t-shirt.
I am creating... I am finishing the second sock for my HyenaCart swap partner. Then, I have yet to decide what I'm going to knit next. I still need to add the buttons to my February Lady Sweater. I've also got a couple of diaper orders to work on this week.
I am going... to be working on puppy training for the next couple of weeks. They are doing really well, but it's hard work and I need to be consistent.
I am reading... my bible, some knitting patterns and a ladies study book.
I am hoping... to get this pair of socks and a single diaper order finished this week - anything beyond that is just icing on the cake.
I am hearing... Noah doing his Bible Study and the other three littles playing (or fighting) in the play room. Scratch that, I just had to send Eliana up to her room until I come up to deal with her attitude.
Around the house... are signs that the pups are here.
One of my favorite things... is still listening to iPod teachings as I knit or work in the sewing room. A couple of my favorites are Charles Stanley (In Touch) and Nancy Leigh DeMoss (Revive Our Hearts).
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Knitting and sewing. Tabitha's speech therapy on Tuesday afternoon. Homeschool PE on Thursday morning. Lots of time spent outside and working on puppy training.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
Princess Tabitha and her pups!
Jeremiah 24:7 ~ I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.
There are many wonderful Daybooks to be read by others participating in The Simple Woman's Daybook, hosted by Peggy of The Simple Woman!
